Recently Southeast Bank PLC. organized a training program on “Overview of CAMELS rating for banks and Internal Credit Risk Rating System (ICRRS)” via hybrid mode on Wednesday at the Bank’s Training Institute. All Divisional Heads and In-Charges at the Head Office, along with all Heads of Branches and Managers Operations, In-Charges of Uposhakhas, and In-Charges of Offshore Banking Units attended the training program.
Mizanur Rahman Akon, Director, DOS-1, Bangladesh Bank, joined the training program as guest speaker. He shared his insights and expertise regarding “CAMELS rating and Internal Credit Risk Rating System (ICRRS)” which provided invaluable knowledge, and helped the attendees better understand those critical rating systems for assessing the financial health of the Bank and evaluating the stability and creditworthiness of clients.
Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director of Southeast Bank PLC. inaugurated the program. In his speech, Hossain emphasized on the importance of CAMELS rating and Internal Credit Risk Rating System (ICRRS)”.
Md. Enamul Hoque and Md. Ramzan Ali, Joint Directors of DOS-1, Bangladesh Bank, shared their knowledge and discussed the key components in determining a bank's CAMELS rating, as well as the use of the ICRRS as a tool for assessing the credit worthiness of the borrowers.
Masum Uddin Khan, and Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank along with all divisional heads and key executives of the Bank’s Head Office were physically present in the training program.
