The Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) and the Beijing Culture and Tourism Bureau today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing to promote bilateral tourism and foster stronger collaboration in the sector.
The MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of trade missions and delegations, share market information, address the needs of travelers from both nations, and enhance cooperation in training, capacity building, and tourism events, according to a message received here.
ATAB President Abdus Salam Aref and Director of the Beijing Culture and Tourism Bureau Wan Wei signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
ATAB Secretary General Afsia Jannat Saleh and Vice President Mr. Abu Zafar along with other members were present.
“The MoU marks a milestone in fostering tourism and cultural exchange between Bangladesh and China. It reflects our shared commitment to advancing the interests of travelers and tourism stakeholders in both countries,” said Aref.
The agreement is expected to open new avenues for cooperation, benefiting both nations' travel and tourism industries through innovative initiatives and shared expertise.
