United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) recently organised a workshop for tea cluster entrepreneurs in Panchagarh District—the event aimed to enhance financial literacy and explore growth opportunities within the tea industry.
The workshop was graced by the presence of Nawshad Mustafa, Director, SMESPD of Bangladesh Bank, as the chief guest. Other distinguished attendees included Rezaul Karim Siddique, Agriculture Analyst; Muhammad Nazmul Haque, Additional Director, SMESPD, Bangladesh Bank; S.M. Moinul Hossain, Head of Credit Risk Management (SME and Retail) UCB; and Mohammad Salim Chowdhury, Head of SME and Agri Banking Division, UCB.
The programme included a panel discussion, a question-and-answer, and a financial literacy session.
