IFIC Bank has inaugurated its 1220th Uposhakha (sub-branch) in Beanibazar Upazila, Sylhet. The newly established Charkhai Uposhakha, located on the 2nd floor of the Al Madina Shopping Complex in Charkhai, was officially inaugurated on November 26, 2024, by local social worker Mr. Ohid Ahmad Talukder, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The event was presided over by Mr. Md. Abdul Quayum Chowdhury, Manager of IFIC Bank’s Sylhet Branch, and was attended by prominent community members, local businessmen, and journalists. With the opening of Charkhai Uposhakha, IFIC Bank, the largest bank in the country in terms of branch and uposhakha count, has achieved a significant milestone, establishing 1,408 branches and uposhakhas nationwide.
