The EMK Centre is thrilled to announce the EMK Small Grant 2025, an annual opportunity to empower changemakers who strive to make a difference.
This initiative invites individuals, groups, and organisations to submit innovative proposals addressing social challenges while fostering U.S.-Bangladesh collaboration.
The EMK Small Grant funds projects that inspire change celebrate innovation and strengthen the ties between the people of the United States and Bangladesh. This year's program focuses on five critical themes.
Democratic Values: Initiatives promoting human rights, civil society activation, press freedom, disability rights, and good governance.
Economic Empowerment: Projects that drive entrepreneurship, empower underserved communities and youth, and explore trade opportunities between the U.S. and Bangladesh.
Environmental Sustainability: Community-led solutions addressing climate change challenges and raising awareness among youth.
STEM Education: Efforts to increase access to STEM opportunities for historically marginalised communities, including indigenous groups and religious minorities.
Arts and Culture: Programmes highlighting local heritage, empowering emerging artists, and promoting cultural diversity.
