National Bank hosted its Regional Business Conference (Dhaka) on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Anchor Tower located at Banglamotor, Dhaka. The event was graced by Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman of National Bank as the Chief Guest. The conference was attended by Mr. Moazzam Hossain, Vice Chairman & Sponsor Director; Mr. Md. Abdus Satter Sarkar, Chairman of the Audit Committee & Independent Director; Mr. Md. Zulkar Nayn, Independent Director; Professor Dr. Melita Mehjabeen, Independent Director. Also present were Mr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director & CEO; Mr. Syed Rois Uddin, Deputy Managing Director; Mr. Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director; Mr. Imran Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director; Region Managers of Dhaka (South) and Dhaka (North), along with Branch Managers and Sub-branch Managers of Dhaka (South), Dhaka (North) and Corporate Branches.
During the conference, the Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo stated that National Bank continues to play a vital role in the country’s economy, particularly in the garments, agriculture and CMSME sectors. He urged branch managers to focus on recovering classified loans, attracting new deposits and enhancing the quality of customer service. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of delivering new and attractive deposit products to customers and taking all necessary measures to regain customer trust.
