Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC received the 'Branding Award 2025' presented by the Centre for NRB for its significant role in globally branding Bangladesh. The award was presented at the inaugural ceremony of the World Conference Series 2025 titled 'Branding Bangladesh' organised by the Centre for NRB at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on January 11, 2025.
Md. Touhid Hossain, Adviser, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, handed the award to Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director of Islami Bank. Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Barrister Saif Uddin Khaled, a Bangladeshi British citizen and Speaker of Tower Hamlets, the United Kingdom, were special guests.
M S Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of the Centre for NRB, presided over the function, and local dignitaries and expatriates from different countries attended the event.
