Southeast Bank PLC. organized the ‘Business Policy and Planning Conference-2025’ to evaluate its business position and formulate future plans. The conference was presided over by Managing Director Mr. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, with participation from the divisional heads of the bank’s head office, branch managers, sub-branch heads, and heads of offshore banking units.
The conference was graced by the presence of Southeast Bank's Chairman, Mr. M.A. Kashem, as the chief guest. Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Rehana Rahman, and esteemed directors of Southeast Bank Mr. Azim Uddin Ahmed; Mrs. Jusna Ara Kashem; Mrs. Duluma Ahmed; Mr. Md. Akikur Rahman; and Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, representing Asia Insurance Limited; Independent Director, Mr. Mohammad Delwar Husain; Director, Mr. Md. Nurul Islam, representing Single Click IT Solution Private Limited and Independent Director, Barrister M. Moyeen Alam Firozee participated in the conference.
During the conference, the Bank's overall performance and progress in 2024 were reviewed, and a sense of satisfaction was expressed. Discussions focused on developing a well-organized strategic business policy and planning for 2025. The participants explored potential growth areas and provided necessary guidelines to advance the bank further.
Chairman Mr. M.A. Kashem emphasized that the unwavering dedication, sincerity, and love of all employees have enabled the Bank to achieve sustainable development despite numerous challenges. He praised the contributions of the staff and called on them to continue working with love and dedication for the Bank. Additionally, he pledged to always stand by the Bank and its employees. He expressed optimism that with collective effort, unity, and hard work, Southeast Bank would one day overcome all the challenges and establish itself as the leading Bank in the country.
Managing Director Mr. Sadeque Hossain expressed gratitude to employees and customers for their steadfast support and loyalty as the Bank approaches its 30th anniversary in 2025. He highlighted 2025 as a year to solidify the Bank’s position and drive growth by leveraging its three decades of experience. He outlined commitments to strengthen recovery efforts for defaulted loans, reduce classified loans, diversify the loan portfolio, and maximize efforts in retail deposit mobilization. Furthermore, he stressed enhancing customer relationships and providing innovative banking solutions to meet their needs in 2025.
The conference concluded with optimism and firm determination to achieve future goals. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary in 2025, Southeast Bank remains committed to excellence through trust, innovation, and collective effort.
