Southeast Bank Training Institute organized a day-long workshop titled "Money and Banking Data (SBS-1, SBS-2, and SBS-3) Reporting and Recent Changes" to enhance the professional knowledge of its officials. The workshop focused on the importance, processes, and recent changes in SBS reporting, as well as providing hands-on training on assets, liabilities, and classified loans reporting.
The sessions were conducted by experts from Bangladesh Bank, including Mr. Prabir Kumar Sarker, Director; Mr. Md. Nurul Islam, Additional Director, Statistics Department; and Mr. Md. Tofazzal Hossain, Deputy Director, Banking Statistics Division. The trainers provided in-depth insights into the significance of SBS reporting and shared best practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The workshop was inaugurated by Southeast Bank's Managing Director, Mr. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, who emphasized the importance of timely and error-free reporting. He encouraged participants to apply their learnings with diligence and expertise to contribute to the bank's operational excellence.
A total of 62 officials from various branches of the bank participated in the workshop. Southeast Bank remains committed to organizing similar training programs to enhance the professional competencies of its employees and keep them updated with regulatory developments.
