The Kids Time Fair, held at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy, buzzed with energy as hundreds of children filled the Shokti+ Healthy Kids Zone. Amidst the laughter and excitement, the star of the event, the Shokti Mascot Lion, made a grand entrance, instantly capturing the attention of children and parents alike.
With a cheerful song, “Aha Ki Anondo Akashe Batashe”, the Shokti Mascot Lion greeted the crowd and asked the children, “Do you want to hear a story?” The response was overwhelming as enthusiastic voices shouted, “Yes! Yes!”
The Lion began a heartwarming tale about a little boy who loved blue, green, and yellow, enjoyed football and chess, but often struggled with fatigue, leg pain, and poor focus. The story took a thoughtful turn as the boy’s parents took him to a doctor, who diagnosed deficiencies in Iron, Iodine, Vitamin A, and Zinc—nutrients essential for physical and mental development. The solution, as the doctor recommended, was a balanced diet complemented by Shokti Yogurt, rich in these vital nutrients.
The children, captivated by the story, erupted in applause as it concluded, while parents nodded in appreciation of the important lesson on nutrition and well-being.
The Kids Time Fair, a three-day event that began on January 24, 2025, provided a blend of fun, education, and creativity. At the Shokti+ Healthy Kids Zone, children aged 4 to 12 engaged in a variety of exciting activities. Each child received a Healthy Kids Badge as they entered, a cherished keepsake of the event.
Interactive games stole the spotlight, with augmented reality games on tablets and big screens drawing crowds of eager participants. Virtual reality experiences, like the Virtual Galaxy Tour, transported children to another world, while physical games such as Ring Toss, Ball Toss, and Balloon Pop kept the energy alive. The Genius Kid Game challenged young minds, offering opportunities to win exciting prizes.
Parents and guardians explored the Healthy Food Zone, featuring nutritious snacks, and visited the Nutrition Corner, where free consultations provided valuable guidance on children’s dietary needs.
The Kids Time Fair, established in 2018, has been a trailblazer in fostering creativity, leadership, and family bonding among children. With activities ranging from crafts and puppet shows to stage performances and parenting workshops, the fair has become a much-anticipated annual event.
Grameen Danone Foods Limited, the driving force behind the Shokti+ brand, played a pivotal role in this year’s success. Their commitment to fighting malnutrition in Bangladesh through nutrient-rich products like Shokti Yogurt has significantly contributed to the well-being of children and communities.
At the opening ceremony, key figures like Dipesh Nag, Managing Director of Grameen Danone Foods Limited, Surayya Siddiqua, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Purba Chowdhury, Marketing Manager, Light of Hope CEO Waliullah Bhuiyan and Kids Time founder Tahmina Rahman, were present who commended the initiative's impact on child development.
The Kids Time Fair 2025 was not just a celebration of fun and games—it was a platform to educate and inspire families about the importance of nutrition and creativity in a child’s growth.
As parents and children left the fairgrounds, their hearts and minds full of stories, laughter, and lessons, one thing was certain: the Shokti Mascot Lion had become a symbol of joy and hope, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
