The 3rd solo art exhibition titled ‘The Storyteller’ of eminent artist Sanjib Das Apu began at Gallery Chitrak at Dhanmondi in the capital.
The 20—day long exhibition, which began on Saturday (Feb 15), will continue till March 6. It will remain open to the visitors from 11am to 8pm daily.
Over 50 artworks of the artist will be put on display in the exhibition. The artworks mainly focused on the life struggle of the lower and middle class people in the city.
An inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was held at Gallery Chitrak at Road-4, House 21/A, Dhanmondi on Saturday evening.
Emeritus Professor eminent Artist Rafiqun Nabi attended as the chief guest, while Prof. Artist Mohammad Yunus, chairman of Art Bangla Foundation, and Nahid Mahtab, a senior lawyer of the Supreme Court, attended as special guests.
The speakers wished the exhibition a success, saying that it would help raise awareness about the rights of deprived people.
