Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) organized a prize & certificate giving ceremony of an essay competition on February 25, Tuesday at the IBF head office auditorium.
Md. Abdul Jalil, chairman of the IBF & director of Islami Bank, presided over the occasion while Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, chairman of IBF and Islami Bank’s executive committee and Mohammad Ali, executive director of IBF addressed the program.
Faizul Kabir, general manager of IBF delivered the greetings. Dr. Riyazul Islam & Mahmud Ahmed expressed feelings on behalf of the award recipients.
A total of 2500 contestants participated in the essay competition organized in 4 categories to increase social awareness and make the present generation aware about current affairs.
Cheques and certificates were handed over to 40 winners including Taka 50 thousand to the 1st winner, Taka 40 thousand to the 2nd winner & Taka 30 thousand to the 3rd winner.
