Mercantile Bank Training Institute organized a day long workshop on “Prevention of Money Laundering & Combating Financing against Terrorism” at its premises recently. Officials from various branches and divisions participated at the workshop.
Mati Ul Hasan, Managing Director of the bank inaugurated the said workshop. In his address Mr. Matiul advised participating officers to strictly adhere with the AML & CFT guidelines in all areas of banking operations.
Shamim Ahmed, DMD & CAMLCO delivered the welcome address at the inaugural session. Mahmudul Ameen Masud, faculty member of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) conducted a session at the program. Mr. Javed Tariq, Principal of the training institute moderated the inaugural program and conducted sessions at the training.
