At the beginning of the 701st Board Meeting of Southeast Bank Limited held on Tuesday (1 August), the Board of Directors participated in a Dua Mahfil in a befitting manner, with due respect, as a part of observing its month-long different programmes by Southeast Bank Limited. Alamgir Kabir, FCA, Chairman of Southeast Bank Limited, presided over the board meeting, as stated in a press release.
The Hon'ble Chairman of Southeast Bank Limited, Alamgir Kabir, FCA, including all participants observed one-minute silence to pay homage and mark the day of 'National Mourning Day 2023' of the 48th martyrdom anniversary of the Great Architect of Independence and Father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Prayers were offered seeking the eternal peace of the departed souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, innocent child Sheikh Russell, and all martyred family members. Bank’s Directors: Md. Akikur Rahman, M. Maniruz Zaman Khan (nominee of Bay Leasing and Investment Limited), Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Md. Rafiqul Islam (nominee of Asia Insurance Limited), Ms. Anjuman Ara Shahid (nominee of Single Click IT Solution (Pvt.) Limited), and Independent Directors Syed Sajedul Karim and Mohammad Delwar Husain attended the meeting. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hussain, Managing Director, and A.K.M. Nazmul Haider, Company Secretary, also participated in the meeting. In the meeting, the Board of Directors participated in a discussion where they highlighted Bangabandhu’s works and life.
