On Sunday (12 November) night, miscreants in Savar's Boliarpur area set a bus belonging to "Itihas Paribahan" on fire.
Miscreants torched the bus, parked on the service lane of Dhaka-Aricha highway, around 9:15 pm and fled, said Dipak Chandra Saha, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station.
Later, locals managed to extinguish the fire, but the bus was completely burnt.
"We are trying to arrest those involved in this incident as soon as possible," added the OC.
Earlier, miscreants set two buses on fire in Dhaka’s Tejgaon and Narayanganj's Adamjee EPZ areas on Sunday night.
