Brcklins owners faces heavy losses initially calculated over tk 50 crore aftermath of cyclone Midili and heavy rainfall which affected coastal area of Bhola.
Amir Hossain an owner of two bricklins in Bhola sadar said that bricks burning season was started recently and lacks of bricks were ready to firing. But due to the cyclone Midhili and heavy shower crores of ready bricks were damaged and dissolved in rain water.
It is reported that there are about 130 brickllins in seven upazila of Bhola district. One Babul Hossain a bricklins owner of Charfassion told this correspondent that they invested cores taka owning from from banks or other money lending organisations to run their businesses but now they became helpless. Bricklins owners said that if they restart their business they must spent huge additional money to labour for next one month.
Only a auto bricklins in Charsamaya union of Bhpla sadar was badly damaged as their store house was totally collapsed during the cyclonic storm. Most of the bricklins and field were in undated by incecent rain and tidal surge.
During visited in ilisha bricklins area of Bhola sadar upazila it is found that lakhs of ready bricks for burning were already dissolved in rain water and become as mud.
The bricklins owners of Bhola district urged to the government to taken initiatives to rehabilitate them to restart their business.
