Traffic movement on Dhaka-Tangail highway remained suspended for two hours on Wednesday (24 January) when a bus overturned after at Kadda in Gazipur district.
Witnesses and police said the Dhaka-bound bus from Nilphamari overturned after hitting a bridge's railing amid dense fog, leaving 10 people including the bus driver injured.
Later, locals and police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and sent them to a hospital.
Ziaul Islam, officer-in-charge of Konabari Police Station, said traffic movement on the highway returned to normal after a wrecker removed the bus from the road.
