Thousands of workers of Croni Group's 'Abanti Color Tex Limited' factory staged a strike to demand unpaid wages in Bscic industrial area. They staged a protest inside the factory from 8 am on Thursday. At this time, the workers complained that "outsiders are obstructing".
Earlier, on January 31, workers staged a strike on the same demand. The workers complained that outsiders tried to stop them during their protest in the morning. Later the workers threw them out of the factory. At this time, the workers said that some domestic sharp weapons and batons were recovered from a place inside the factory. They alleged that they were kept inside the factory at night to suppress the workers.

We arrive before the workers enter the factory. In the morning the workers tried to talk to the management. Later those involved with the management came out. We are not in a strong position. At lunch hour, the workers come out. Meanwhile, they brought batons, rods from inside which were seized by Fatulla Model Police Station.
Fatulla Model Police Station Inspector (Officer-in-Charge) Noore Azam told this correspondent that the workers have been protesting since morning demanding unpaid wages. They protested peacefully. Now the situation is normal.
