Truck-easybike collision leaves four dead in Khulna’s Dumuria

Four people, including two women, died and three others were injured in a collision between a brick-laden truck and a three-wheeler easybike in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Saturday (10 February) afternoon.

The deceased were easybike driver Biswajit Biswas, 30, passengers Sabbir Moral, 23, Nipa Dali, 25, and a 26-year-old unidentified woman hailing from several areas of the upazila.

Dumuria Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sukanta Saha confirmed the matter.

The accident happened around 3:30 pm when the vehicles collided head-on in Angardoha village in Kharniya union of the upazila, leaving two dead on the spot and five others critically injured.

They were rushed to the Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared the other two dead, said the OC, adding that the rest are now undergoing treatment.
