An unidentified woman was killed when hit by a train in Dhaka’s Moghbazar area on Saturday (17 February).
Quoting witnesses, Inspector Bachhu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said the train hit the woman, aged about 39, while crossing the Hatirjheel-Moghbazar level crossing around 9 am, leaving her injured.
Later, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries around 11 am.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said Bachhu Mia.
