Narayanganj-4 (Fatullah-Siddhirganj) Constituency Member of Parliament AKM Shamim Osman has said, many people are getting angry seeing me and Selina Hayat Ivy sitting together.
Especially the anti-independence forces and the so-called extreme -left and extreme -right have no dearth of vehemence. I have become accustomed to tolerate these things.
He said these things in a meeting with party leaders and activists at the Narayanganj Rifle Club in Chashara area of the city on Sunday February 18 evening.
MP Shamim Osman also said, 'I want to say to the hawkers, some will provoke you. The Left will play with you, but not solve the problem. I am for the poor. I have seen that hawkers do not sit without money. They pay subscriptions. Neither we nor the city corporation get this money.
Some extortionists get it. This cannot happen every day. Please Work and serve the people.
Narayanganj District Council Chairman Chandan Sheel, District Awami League General Secretary Advocate Abu Hasnat Md. Shahid Badal, City Awami League General Secretary Advocate Khokon Shaha, organising secretary GM Arman, Joint Secretary Zakirul Alam Helal along with various leaders and activists were present in the meeting.
