Religious Organization Rupantor Ministries distributed Eid gifts to underprivileged Muslim children.
On Saturday (30 March) on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Eid items were handed over to 50 Muslim students at Outfall Telugu Community School in Dhalpur of the capital.
Presided over by Yosef U.K. Nandam (Joy), President, Rupantor Ministries, Eminent Journalist and Organizer Rahat Hossain was the Chief Guest, Outfall Telugu Community School Managing Committee President A Joseph Das was the Special Guest, Outfall Telugu Community School was the moderator, Principal Peter Biswas and Assistant Teacher Mahamuda Asim Monira.
Journalist Rahat Hossain, the chief guest of the event, said that the Eid-ul-Fitr of Bengali Muslims has become a universal festival today. Iftar in Ramadan binds us together in harmony. People of all religions and races are living together. Children should be taught harmony and humaneness from childhood. Harmony keeps the Bengali society alive for ages.
