Jayanta Kumar Deb and Dr. Tapash Chandra Paul were elected president and general secretary respectively of Mohanagar Sarbojaneen Puja Committee. The two-year executive committee was declared on Friday (10 May) through Biennial council in Dhakeshwari National Temple in Dhaka.
Jayanta Kumar Deb is a benevolent social worker. He obtained his Master’s in Department of Pharmacy from University of Dhaka. He is serving as the Vice President of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad. Dr. Tapash Chandra Paul is the CFO of Mercantile Bank PLC. He is the founder president of Banker’s Welfare Club Bangladesh. He is also International Communication Secretary of Dhaka University Alumni Association.
Professor Dr. Samanta Lal Sen, Minister of Health and Family Welfare was the Chief Guest in the conference while Md. Solaiman Selim, Member of the Parliament were also present as the special guests among others.
