Husband killed garment worker wife by stabbing in Ishwardi. The incident took place on Sunday (2 June) at 7:30 am on the Iswardi EPZ Gate area road.
The deceased wife was employer in a company called Renaissance Barind Limited of EPZ. She died when her long-estranged husband stabbed her while coming to work in the morning. The name of the deceased garment worker is Rina Khatun (28). She is the daughter of Akbar Ali of Chak Singhipara village of Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi. Rina Khatun's husband Milan Hossain (38) from Chapainawabganj district.
Investigating Officer (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station Monirul Islam said that the body of the deceased will be recovered and sent to Pabna morgue for autopsy. Milan Hossain, the deceased's husband, has been arrested.
