A man died and two others injured as a train accident with an auto rickshaw in Kalihati upazila of the district here on Sunday (9 June).
The deceased was identified as Abu Taleb, 42, hailed from Chatihati village in the upazila.
Team leader of Elenga Fire Service Belal Hossain said the accident occurred in the early morning in Mosinda area of the upazila. Abu Taleb breathed his last on the way to Tangail General Hospital.
A case was lodged with police in this connection.
