Member of Parliament of Narayanganj-5 Constituency Salim Osman has issued a strict warning on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha in Bandar Upazila with regard to livestock market. He also asked the administration to handle these issues.
He said this at the foundation laying ceremony of Model Mosque in Bandar Upazila at 12 noon on Sunday (June 9).
Salim Osman said, recently it has started again with the cow market. There is no need to talk about the cow market for so many years. Now both public and private are now doing business with haat. I have also seen that after allotting a hut, another hut is allotted half a kilometer later. In other districts permission of hut is given subject to approval of MP, but in case of Narayanganj it is reversed.
He also said, it is okay to build a hut, if there is any anarchy with this hut, the government officials who are there. I am not afraid of anyone. So that there is no anarchy, no hooliganism with this market, You arrange it. The onus is on the police, UNO to handle the market. So that there is no disturbance with the hut in my port.
