An unidentified man was crushed under the wheels of a train in Battala Kasaibari level crossing in the Airport area of the capital on Friday (5 July) night.
Sanu Mong Marma, assistant sub-inspector of Dhaka Airport Railway police camp, said the man aged about 50-55, wearing blue t-shirt, died on the spot when he was hit by the Dhaka-bound Jayantika Express train while crossing the railway tracks around 7:35 pm.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue.
