A man was killed as a bus hit his bicycle in Assasuni upazila of the district on Sunday (14 July) morning.
The deceased was identified as Rezaul Sana, 60, hailed from Adalotpur village of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Assasuni Police Station Biswajit Kumar Adhikari said the accident occurred around 10:30 am in Amtolar Mor area of the upazila when a bus hit a bicycle, leaving its rider injured.
Injured Rezaul was sent to Assasuni Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.
