Local youths have constructed a wooden bridge for the commuting of more than five hundred families under the initiative of the AC Akram Foundation, earning praise on social media. Hogra Union Parishad Chairman Noor A Alam Tuhin commended the foundation, stating that AC Akram Foundation is always present to assist with movement difficulties in flood-affected areas.

The transportation system for about five hundred families was disrupted due to floodwaters entering a canal on the east side of Shaukat Doctor's house in Hogra Union of Tangail Sadar Upazila. Upon learning of the issue, local youths quickly took action under the guidance of the AC Akram Foundation. Within a week, they built the wooden platform. According to local sources, hundreds of houses and roads were submerged due to landslides caused by upstream flooding. The AC Akram Foundation's members have been assisting distressed residents and addressing poor road conditions throughout Hogra Union. The foundation's efforts have garnered significant support and praise from the community.

Hogra Union Parishad Chairman Noor Alam Tuhin expressed his motivation upon witnessing the commendable efforts of the local youth.

Following these efforts, clean water tube wells have been installed at several bazaar ghats in the union, funded by the AC Akram Foundation. Among the recipients are Beguntal Taleb's house, Chakladar Para Zia Chakladar's house, North Hogra Fakir Bazaar, Musharraf's house, and Narsinghpur's house. The foundation also plays a significant role in blood donation, transporting helpless individuals to hospitals, and assisting with medical care.

Ripon Mandal, a member of the initial group of youths, mentioned that their group started with eight to ten people. Encouraged by their work, the youth group now has about 60 members. Among the prominent members are Rauf, Hridoy, Hellal, Bhasani, and Rafiq. Ripon himself has donated blood to 10 helpless patients. He expressed hope that the youth society of Hogra Union will always work for humanity. He emphasized that the humanitarian work of the AC Akram Foundation is genuine and not merely for show. The foundation aspires that their good deeds will inspire the youth of other unions to engage in humanitarian activities, aiding the helpless and distressed, and spreading such efforts across the district.
