Ctg chamber holds view exchange for business development

The Chittagong Chamber Of Commerce and Industry on Thursday (25 July), organised a view exchange meeting with the public representatives, government officials and businesses with a view to developing the business environment in Chattogram.

CCCI president Omar Hazzaz presided over the view exchange meeting while member of the parliament for Chattogram-11 constituency MA Latif, Chattogram divisional commissioner Md. Tofayel Islam, Chattogram Metropolitan Police commissioner Saiful Islam, Chattogram deputy commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman, Chattogram Custom House’s joint commissioner Md. Tariq Hassan, Chattogram port’s director (traffic) Enamul Karim, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association’s first vice-president Syed Nazrul Islam, CCCI’s vice president Raisa Mahbub, among others, addressed.

The chamber leaders condemned the recent outbreaks of violence carried out over government structures during the student protests and urged the government to bring the involved under proper punishment, said a press release issued on Thursday evening, said the press release.

MP MA Latif said that some ill-motivated persons carried out the attacks on different government structures to hinder the development of the country, the press release added.

MA Latif urged the business leaders to stand with government policy for moving forward for the development of the country.
