Following the resignation of the Awami League government during the anti-discrimination student movement, students have begun efforts to spread peace, even as incidents of attacks, vandalism, and arson continue in the wake of anger and revenge.

In Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram, students involved in the anti-discrimination movement are working to bring about positive changes. They have taken up activities such as volunteering to protect Hindu community temples, managing traffic like police, and repairing roads by filling in broken sections with sand and soil.

One notable effort involved the rehabilitation of a damaged road near the helipad from Phulbari to Gongarhat. Students filled 30 geobags with sand and placed them on the damaged road to alleviate the difficulties faced by travelers.

Local teachers and residents have joined hands with the students, contributing to these peace-building efforts. The community has widely praised the students for their initiative, recognizing their role in restoring peace during a turbulent time.

Local resident Sohanur Rahman praised the students of the anti-discrimination student movement in Phulbari for their commendable efforts. He noted that thanks to their initiative, the damaged paved road adjacent to the helipad on the Phulbari to Nageshwari road has been repaired, greatly reducing public suffering.

Jobaidul Islam, a local school teacher, expressed his admiration for the students' efforts, saying, "With the good initiative of the students of the anti-discrimination student movement, I personally worked alongside them, filling geobags with sand and helping to repair the broken roads. I really appreciated it."

Local homeopathic doctor Sirajul Haque also voiced his approval, saying, "I am happy that the students of the anti-discrimination student movement have done a good job. It's impressive that the students are working to clean the capital Dhaka and restore order on the roads in Phulbari, acting like traffic police at the zero point of the upazila.

Additionally, their work to ensure the safety of life and property for the minority community is highly commendable."
Sabuj Mia, a member of the anti-discrimination student movement, shared his commitment to these efforts, saying, "We are working in the field to bring back an atmosphere of peace and harmony in Phulbari. I have been serving as a traffic police to prevent attacks on the minority Hindu community, raise awareness, and restore order during meetings, gatherings, and on the roads."
