Narayanganj City Corporation and former senior vice-president of District Awami League Dr Selina Hayat Ivy paid tribute to Bangabondhu On Thursday (August 15) at 9 o'clock in the morning.
This tribute was paid to the portrait of Bangabandhu erected at the district and city Awami League party office located in the no-2 rail gate area of the city.
On the occasion of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 49th death anniversary Mayor Ivy said to the activists, "You have come to pay respect to Bangabandhu. What is the fear of paying tribute to Bangabandhu?
NCC Ward Councilor No. 14 and city Awami League member Moniruzzaman Monir along with Awami League, Jubo League and Volunteer League leaders were present.
