Rosatom decline unethical dealings reports in Ruppur nuclear project

Russia's state atomic energy corporation Rosatom rejects a news published about unethical financial transactions in the Ruppur nuclear power project as provocative.

On Monday (August 19) in the afternoon, in a press release sent by the media of Rosatom from Moscow, Russia, the news about unethical financial transactions in the Ruppur project published and circulated in various media in Bangladesh was rejected.

According to the press release, Rosatom is committed to open working practices, anti-corruption policies and ensuring transparency in procurement processes in all its projects. Transparency in business processes is regularly ensured through external audits.

Rosatom is also ready to go to court to protect its own reputation and interests.

According to Rosatom, we consider the false information published and circulated in the media as an attempt to tarnish the Ruppur nuclear power project. This project is being implemented to solve the problem of electricity shortage in Bangladesh and for the welfare of the people
