Noakhali masses took shelter in center, volunteer distributed food

Amid ongoing floods hits nearly 4 to 50 thousands people from remote areas in Noakhali. They had took shelter center of Noakhali district last 24 hours.

Noakhali Municipality Moyer Shahid Ullha Khan Shoel have distribution food and others.

Besides, Abdul Awel Executive Director of Aso Gori an NGO alongside distributed food among 450 people at Joyag college ground.

M.Harun ur Rashid Joyag UP member said daily messenger that, Inside Sonaimuri Upazila locals are affected due to flood.

On Friday (23 August) while visiting some schools and College temporary shelters center were seen huge flood hit people come with female, sons, daughter. They have worried for thier properly, domestic animals and crops land which were lost, went under water.

Now they have getting foods, dry foods, medicine by the local, volunteer organisation till Thursday afternoon.

In Noakhali sadar a provati kinder garden school ( kg) foods hit people take shelter near Maijdee town and adjoining areas. Local school teachers, commisoner Ratan Krishna paul, provati school headmistress, school managing committee and other have gave them cooking foods, also dry foods and others aids, they feels better.

In Noakhali government College also a huge people take shelter from Thursday afternoon while getting foods.

The Deputy Commisoner of Noakhali DC Dewan Mahbur Rahaman said to daily messenger that floods have impacted 86 uionns across 8 upazilas of Noakhali district.

About 0.184 families are water-locked, affecting a population of 1.9 million DC added.

He also said, a total of 388 shelters have been opened, house 36,115 people and 4,714 cattle affected.
