Sheikh Hasina banned after banning Jamaat: Mia Ghulam Parwar

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General, Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar, stated, "Sheikh Hasina has been defeated by the massive student uprising, and Bangladesh has triumphed. Just four days before fleeing, Sheikh Hasina banned Jamaat, but Allah has banned Hasina, forcing her to flee the country."

He further remarked that the martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement and their families are honored by Allah. He added, "The sacrifices of these martyrs have increased our responsibilities." He made these remarks while distributing financial aid to the families of martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement, an event organized by Bakerganj Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami in Barishal.

The event was held on Monday (August 26) at 11 am at the Bakerganj Upazila Auditorium. Presided over by Bakerganj Upazila Jamaat Ameer, Professor Feroze Alam, the event also featured Advocate Muazzam Hussain Helal, Assistant Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami, who criticized the Awami League, stating, "Awami League has plundered and destroyed banks across the country. Even Sheikh Hasina herself admitted that her office peon owns 400 crore takas. If a peon owns that much, how many thousands of crores does Sheikh Hasina own? Reports of her direct involvement in money laundering have been published in the media."

Speakers at the event included Barishal Metropolitan Ameer Principal Zahir Uddin Muhammad Babar, District Ameer Professor Abdul Jabbar, Secretary Maulana Mahmudu Nabi, and Shamim Sayeedi, son of Delwar Hossain Sayeedi. Other attendees included Nasir Uddin Rokon Dakuya, President of the Islami Shashontantra Andolon Bakerganj Upazila branch, Harun-or-Rashid Zomaddar, Convenor of Upazila BNP, Member Secretary Nasir Howlader, Nasir Uddin Zomaddar, Convenor of Municipal BNP, Enayet Hossain Khan Bipu, Convenor of Upazila Jubo Dal, Ataur Rahman Roman, Convenor of Municipal Jubo Dal, and Shahin Talukdar, Member Secretary of Municipal BNP.

Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar provided financial assistance of 12 lakh takas to the families of six martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement during the event. This financial aid distribution was held at the Bakerganj Upazila Auditorium, organized by the Bakerganj Upazila branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, on Monday at 10 am. The aid was provided to the families of Shaon Sikder, Abdul Wadud, Robiul Farazi, Arifur Rahman Russell, Shaheed Md. Sumon, and Md. Sajid, who were martyred in the anti-discrimination student movement in Bakerganj Upazila.
