Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, recovered 1.060 kilograms of heroin from Chapainawabganj
sadar upazila on Friday night.
RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of the RAB-5 conducted a raid in Baroghoria sluice gate area in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila around 11 pm and recovered the contraband drugs in an abandoned
condition.
Later, the elite force deposited the heroin with Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station recording a general diary, the sources added.
