A man was killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a human hauler in Palashbari Upazila of Gaibandha on Friday evening.
The deceased was identified as human hauler driver Abu Hossain, a resident of Rai village in Palashbari Upazila.
According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azmiruzzaman of Palashbari Police Station, the motorcycle was heading towards Palashbari town when it collided with an oncoming easy bike near Joondah Bazar, leaving Abu Hossain and two others injured.
Abu Hossain succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital.
