One RMG worker died during a clash between workers and law enforcers in Ashulia today, while six others were shot.
The incident took place in front of Mandal Group factory in Jirabo area of Tongi-Ashulia-EPZ road on Monday (September 30) around 11:30 am.
More two were brought later on, both workers were part of Natural Indigo factory.
The name of the worker who was shot and killed is Kausar Hossain Khan (27).
Agitated workers vandalized at least five law enforcement vehicles. Superintendent of Police Sarwar Alam of Industry Police-1 and some members of the joint force were injured.
Enam Medical College Hospital duty manager Yusuf Ali confirmed the death on Monday (September 30) around 2:30 pm.
The deceased Kausar Hossain Khan was a worker of Mango Text Limited garment factory. The two people who were shot were Nayon and Russell.
