Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Sunday suspended its Chattogram city unit leader SK Khoda Toton for his alleged involvement in grabbing, terrorism and anti organizational activities.
A letter issued and signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, on Sunday said that SK Khoda Toton was suspended from BNP’s all types of membership and the decision would be implemented immediately.
SK Khoda Toton, was the joint convener of Chattogram city unit BNP, according to the letter.
Md Idris Ali, spokesperson of Chattogram city unit BNP, told The Daily Messenger that they were informed about the suspension of SK Khoda Toton.
SK Khoda Toton told The Daily Messenger that he was the victim of political grouping and he was not involved in any grabbing, terrorism and anti organizational activities.
“Some influencials inside the party insist the party leaders to take this decision by misrepresenting me. Even the party leaders did not issue me a show cause letter before taking the decision,” SK Khoda Toton alleged.
