The Chattogram City Corporation on Monday launched a three-day long mosquito menace programme in the city area to reduce dengue outbreaks, strengthen sanitation activities and increase public involvement in mosquito control.
CCC’s chief executive officer Sheikh Mohammad Tauhidul Islam inaugurated the programme at Shershah Dr. Mazharul Hoque High School premises while CCC’s chief conservancy officer commander Latiful Hoq Kazmi addressed the programme as special guest.
CCC and OXygen Oasis Club jointly organised the programme where the chief guest Sheikh Mohammad Tauhidul Islam said that as the dengue outbreak increased nowadays, everyone needs to be aware and spread awareness.
