First round of national Hifzul Quran competition 2024-25 began in Chattogram on Wednesday (30 october). 20 among 250 participants got the yes card for the second round from Chattogram.
Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Hifzul Quran Foundation organised the competition at Maizbhandai Khanka Sharif at Khulshi on the occasion of birth bicentenary of great sufi saint Shah Sufi Syed Ahmad Ullah Maizbhandari, said a press release.
Incumbent pir of Guasia Ahmadia Manzil Shah Sufi Syed Emdadul Haque Maizbhandari pattronised the competition under the supervision of Darul Irfan Research Institute’s managing trustee Syed Irfanul Haque Maizbhandari, the press release added.
Khan Agro group’s managing director Sayedul Haque Khan, officials of Anjuman-e Muttabeyen-e Gause Maizbhandari (Shah Emdadia) were present at the programme.
The competition will be held at all district and divisional cities followed by Chattogram.
