A teenage motorcyclist was killed when his motorbike collided head-on with a passenger bus in front of Palli Bidyut office on the Ramganj-Hajiganj road of the district last night.
The deceased was identified as Shakib Hossain, 16, son of Md Abul Kashem of Kalchama area under Ramganj upazila of the district.
Eyewitnesses said the accident occurred when a passenger bus collided head-on with the motorcycle in the aforesaid area, leaving Shakib critically injured.
He was rushed to Ramganj Upazila Health Complex. As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Dhaka. But he succumbed to his injures on way to Dhaka.
Local police confirmed the incident.
