To ensure the smooth continuation of administrative activities at the historic Kapilmuni College in Paikgacha, Khulna, an ad-hoc committee has been formed.

The Vice-Chancellor of the National University has appointed Upzila Executive Officer (UNO) Mahera Naznin as the committee president. Additionally, education enthusiast Sabrina Sharmin Azmi (Swarna), the wife of prominent social worker, journalist and human rights activist S.M. Mostafizur Rahman Parvez, has been appointed as a member of the five-member committee.

On Monday, the college authorities confirmed the formation of the committee. According to reports, the matter was communicated via a letter signed by Acting College Inspector Md. Abdul Hai Siddiq Sarkar with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor of the National University.

The other members of the committee include the college principal who will serve as the member-secretary by virtue of their position and one founder member nominated by the president. If a founder member is unavailable, a donor or benefactor will be selected. Additionally, one member will be elected directly by the teachers of the college through a voting process.
