Lohagara Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain on Wednesday visited different community clinics at Lohagara Upazila to monitor the health services to the people.
During the visits at Barhatia Union, and in Adhunagar Union’s Magdighir Par, Mashjidia, Hadurpara, and Rashiderghona, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain reviewed the clinics' service activities, infrastructure, availability of medicines, and other administrative aspects.
The upazila health officer also held discussions with the clinic staff, commending their dedication and offering guidance for further improving healthcare services. He mentioned the importance of community clinics in delivering primary healthcare.
"Community clinics are the cornerstone of primary healthcare. Enhancing the quality of services provided by these clinics is our priority to ensure healthcare reaches every doorstep," said Iqbal Hossain.
He also inquired about patients' experiences with the services and stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the clinics. He encouraged local residents to seek timely medical care and assured that necessary initiatives would be taken to further develop the clinics and enhance service quality.
