Bangladesh Nationalist Party's former joint secretary general Mohammad Aslam Chowdhury on Thursday provided financial aid to the families of the victims of recent fire incidents at West Lalanagar of Baraiyadhala Union of Sitakunda Upazila in Chattogram.
Aslam Chowdhury visited the affected families to provide financial assistance and inquire about their situation on Thursday.
The BNP leader appealed to all and said, “The families affected by this fire are in a desperate situation, having lost everything. I urge the government and the wealthy individuals in our community to come forward to help rebuild their homes and restore their lives.”
Sitakunda Upazila BNP convener Dr. Kamal Kodor, Sitakunda Municipality BNP convener Zakir Hossain, member secretary Saleh Ahmed Solu, BNP leaders Zahurul Alam Zahur, Md. Morsalin, Badiul Alam Badrul, Rabiul Haque, Zafar Ahmed, Alauddin Masum, Kazi Selim, Korban Ali Sahed, Monson Ali, Md Mohsin, among others, were present during the visit.
The affected families expressed their gratitude for the assistance and called for more community and governmental support to help them recover from their losses.
