Rice has been distributed to 410 beneficiary women under the VGD (Vulnerable Group Development) program in Chandkhali Union of Paikgacha, Khulna.
On Tuesday morning, each beneficiary received 30 kilograms of rice as part of the final installment of the two-year-long project.
The distribution took place at the Union Parishad in the presence of Acting Chairman of Chandkhali UP, Abdullah Sardar. Also present during the event were Tag Officer and Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officer Tarifur Rahman, Panel Chairman Fatema Tuj Jahura Rupa, UP members Helal Uddin, Anisur Rahman Sana, Esnwara Begum, Matleb Mali, other Union Parishad members, administrative officer GM Abbas Uddin and prominent local figures.
