Professor Dr. Sultan Ahmed, a Senate Member of the University of Chittagong, on Wednesday said that competitive exams like scholarship tests offer students a platform to showcase their abilities and knowledge. Such tests reflect a student's understanding and learning in different areas.
He made these remarks while addressing the award distribution ceremony for the "Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Merit and Skill Development Examination 2024" and the "Gausul Azam Syed Ahmad Ullah Maizbhandari Technical Merit Scholarship Examination 2024," held at an auditorium in Raozan.
Praising the initiatives of the Darul Irfan Research Institute and Maizbhandari Foundation, Professor Dr. Sultan Ahmed called upon others in society to contribute to similar welfare activities.
Syed Irfanul Haque Maizbhandari, Managing Trustee of Darul Irfan Research Institute presided over the event.
Syed Irfanul Haque Maizbhandari emphasized the need for dedication to implementing the welfare programs initiated by Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Emdadul Haque Maizbhandari. These programs include annual scholarship tests, blood donation drives, tree plantations, and providing support to the underprivileged.
Md. Ridwannul Haque, assistant commissioner (land) of Raozan, Nurul Manowar Chowdhury, principal of Gahira Kamil M.A Madrasah and Md. Mostak Ahmed, headmaster of Raozan RRC Model High School were present as the special guests.
Key members from various organizational branches of Anjuman-e-Muttabayeene Gaus-e-Maizbhandari and other prominent figures from Raozan were also present.
