Six people have been killed after a bus crashed head-on into an autorickshaw in Sherpur’s Sadar Upazila. The accident occurred near the PTI on the Sherpur-Dhaka highway in Vatshala Union around 11:30am on Sunday, according to Sub Inspector Ansar Ali Biyoti from Sherpur Sadar Police Station.
Five people were killed on the spot, while the sixth victim died on the way to the hospital, he said. The identities of the dead have yet to be confirmed.
