The Lohagara Upazila Health Complex in Chattogram witnessed the safe birth of seven newborns in the last 24 hours till Monday. Among them, five babies were delivered naturally, while two were born via cesarean section.
The successful deliveries were conducted under the skilled supervision of the health complex's doctors and nurses. Both the newborns and their mothers are reported to be in good health, said Lohagara upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain.
“We are continuously working to improve the quality of services at the Upazila Health Complex. Ensuring safe motherhood and healthy children is our top priority, ” he said.
Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain expressed his gratitude to the medical staff, including doctors and nurses, for their dedicated efforts.
The mothers expressed satisfaction with the hospital’s services, showing trust and gratitude for the care they received.
