The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), one of the oldest and centenary trade organizations of the country, has invited applications from businessmen of all walks of life for new membership in order to hold a transparent, fair and participatory election.
The process of updating and inclusion of the application for new membership is underway.
According to the trade organization rules of the Ministry of Commerce, an election board and election appeal board will be formed at least 90 days before the election and the election schedule will be announced by the Election Board at least 80 days before the election.
In addition, according to the terms and conditions of the trade organization's articles of association and memorandum of association, new members can participate in the election 120 days before the election date.
To this end, interested businessmen are requested to take membership of Chittagong Chamber by January 20, 2025. In addition, the inclusion of regular members of the chamber will continue.
